At VivCourt, you’ll work with Traders and Analysts to execute research-driven trades in global energy markets. You’ll have the chance to build a deep understanding of global energy markets, even if you’re new to trading, with ample opportunities to contribute to decisions that impact the bigger picture.

At VivCourt, you’ll collaborate with Traders to research global events, market trends, and pricing dynamics. You’ll be a key player, providing fundamental analysis that shapes our energy division’s decisions and drives accurate trade execution.

The Program

Start with ten weeks of in-class lessons led by senior traders covering pricing theory, logic, our quantitative strategies and more.

Immerse yourself in our culture and mission while gaining practical experience in actual and simulated trading environments.

Shadow teams, work on impactful projects, and present your findings to the trading team.

Benefit from regular feedback and a dedicated mentor for personalised support.

After ten weeks, join a Brisbane desk to continue learning and make an immediate impact, with full support from our Energy division to help build your career.

Jordan Corser

Degree: Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) – UQ
Role: Energy Trader

I did a bachelor of engineering, then a master’s in mechatronics engineering at the University of Queensland. It’s a reasonably quantitative degree, and I often call upon these skills and my programming knowledge when trading – but above all, the problem-solving skills I learned during my degree have been invaluable.
